Distinctive jewellery and home decor created with resin and jesmonite to give colourful, contemporary pieces that I hope you will love wearing and owning as much as I love creating.
I started out making jewellery for myself several years ago and soon became hooked. I am self taught having attended a number of jewellery classes working with silver, wire work and beading.
I took up a resin workshop not knowing if it would be a technique I liked but quickly found I loved the media so much that it has become my main focus.
I use a variety of creative techniques whilst working with resin and I'm always exploring new ones. My love of resin has now expanded into home decor pieces and also a new passion working with Jesmonite, an eco-friendly composite material using liquid acrylic resin and a mineral base powder which creates lovely smooth, tactile, modern looking pieces.
All pieces have been made by myself in my studio at home. The nature of resin and jesmonite means no one piece can be identical.
Even if the intention is to create a particular design at the outset different patterns and textures emerge as the resin flows and settles, or as the Jesmonite is coloured and poured, which is all part of the appeal.
Resin is colourful, fun and versatile. It works just as wonderfully as a piece of fashion jewellery, whether you wish to dress up or down, take with you on your holidays or accessorise with the latest seasonal colour, as it does transformed into a unique finishing touch for the home.
Jesmonite is modern and contemporary, can be bold or delicate and gives unique pieces, that either standalone well or easily mix and match to create statement additions to your home.
